My Approach

As a trauma-informed counselor, I specialize in working with pre-teens, teens, and adults using a psychodynamic lens and ego state work to explore the parts of ourselves shaped by early wounds or protective patterns. I am trained in:

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR)

  • Distancing Technique (OCD and Phobias)

  • Ego state therapy

  • Expressive modalities including art, writing, and sand tray for inner child healing

Professional Journey

I have over six years of experience supporting children, teen girls, and adults in a variety of settings. I began my career in a non-profit, faith-based organization, where I worked closely with women navigating significant life challenges and spiritual trauma. I then transitioned to private practice, where I’ve had the privilege of supporting families from diverse walks of life and different phases of life.

Through this work, I’ve learned that every person carries their own story, and no two experiences of trauma, anxiety, or life transitions are alike. My approach is always tailored to meet you where you are and help you move toward the life you want to live—grounded, confident, and empowered.
